Everyday Plastic: Exploring Your Plastic Footprint
This event is for schools taking part in The Everyday Plastic Survey only.
Watch and submit your data 17-21 May.
We’ve partnered with Everyday Plastic to launch a pilot survey of plastic waste. This is a first-of-its-kind campaign that offers school pupils (and staff) the chance to get to grips with the global plastic problem through their own consumption.
Let founder of Everyday Plastic, Daniel Webb, guide you in separating, categorising and analysing your plastic waste. By analysing your plastic waste, you will gain a comprehensive insight into what you throw away and where it goes. Submit your data to receive your own unique ‘Plastic Footprint’: this will show you how much of your weekly plastic waste will be recycled or exported and how much is food packaging or single-use packaging. Most importantly, this highlights the quick, simple and cheap changes that, when taken together, can make an enormous difference.
