Hear direct from researchers at The Rosalind Franklin Institute on the latest cutting-edge treatments for cancer. Zoltan Takats is a researcher in the field of Mass Spectrometry and was one of the iKnife inventors, a tool which allows samples to be collected and analysed during surgery to identify cancerous tissue. This gives doctors real-time information and allows them to make better informed decisions about how to treat patients. Laura Holland will discuss how technologies developed at the Franklin will allow scientists to better visualise cells, understand how drugs interact with cells and identify possible new treatments.
